The frames, wheels etc were sent to Swindon Railway Engineering where the locomotive was manufactured. At Swindon the re-profiling of the wheels and foundry work which we cannot undertake has been carried out.

The abovementioned work has been completed and the locomotive was returned to the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre as a restored rolling chassis on the 12/12/2006. The Working Party are now working on other parts of the locomotive like the boiler, water tanks, bunker and cab.
